Deux Romain an Gaule

In a documentary - "Documentaire Sur La Vie De Goscinny" a movie obaut Rene Gosicnny and his work (not just Asterix, other books and comics he work on like Iznogoud as well) there are fiue interesting clips.

Many are from a black and white, live action movie title "Deux Romain and Gaule" in wich Gosinny play a part and Asterix and Obelix make a apperance in this movie (in Animated form) Their staile is similar to the one from "Asterix and Cleopatra" movie.

Olsow there is another interesting clip - A Interviue with Asterix and Obelix (their are animated while the rom and guy who is talking to them is live action) Goscinny and Uderzo show up, there as well.

I had exactly the same thoughts, when I watched this documentation a time ago. Nobody in the german section of the forum did ever see the whole movie. Luigi even asked for me in the french section, but it seems that there never had been a video oder DVD-edition of it. Probably this first Asterix live action movie - which was a TV production - has never been telecasted again after the development of the VHS technology.

So, I'm afraid we will never get to see the complete movie.
