Grand Collection in English

Hi, new here and first post, took me awhile to get English on the forum!!

As the title says really, looked around here and the last posting regarding the Grand Collection was 2011, any more word on English translation? Just about to become a first time Dad and would love for little 'Sprout' real name Lex to grow up on Asterix, plus I want to re-read them as an adult and get some of the jokes I missed first time.

Dear Lepak,

The complete english edition is published these days by Orion books. The official Asterix site http://www.asterix.com has pages on the "grand collection" but that special large format edition exists to my best knowledge only in french and german.

Have a look at Orion books, and you will see they are doing a collection of books in the Omnibus series, were they have 3 books in 1. Maybe you could put a collection of these together.

Yes, the Omnibus series is something new. Unfortunately it does not yet cover all books.

thanks for the info.
So no idea on a chance of the re-inked re-mastered (large format?) English release.
Colour (or re-colour) me surprised.
I would LOVE that. suppose I will have to wait.
Any idea who publishes it? I'll start to badger them!
