Hi again ! I'm doing my paper on Obélix and Co, and there's a pun that i'm not sure 2 understand... (i'm no even sure whether there is one...)It's on page 25, on the 6th panel. The dialogue goes on like this:
- Unhygienix : Can I pay in fish?
-Woolix : All right. This isn't the time and place to carp!
The question may be stupid, but then, does he really agree with the fact that Unhygienix pays in fish????

"To carp" is a relatively obscure expression these days meaning "to complain" ... and "carp" is also a type of fish. So he uses a fish related term to say he won't complain about the deal.Colombe hat geschrieben:The dialogue goes on like this:
