When is grand collection going to be released in english? does anybody know? As I heard for german-speaking countries first 2 issues are already in print!

as far as I know, in Germany the first 6 albums are already available.

I don't know. But wenleyix3, the webmaster of "Asterix NZ", stated on december 2006, that he estimates it to be quite unlikely that there'll be an english publication soon. Look here:
