It looks good indeed - but why should that surprise anyone? The editors have every reason to secure the quality of one of their major money-makers.

I am looking forward to a better reading experience than the last two times.

I found plenty of new art from the upcomingh Asterix book.

that's surely because "Asterix and the picts" isn't upcoming anymore, but has been published in October 2013. Or do you mean another Asterix book? As far as I know, there is no further one announced yet.

Perhaps we will see some kind of film book for the upcoming animated movie "Asterix - The Lands of the Gods". Its French release will be in November 2014 but I could not find any information concerning a related Asterix book until now.
